Our environment matters to all of us. Not just globally, locally too. The environment on our doorstep affects how we feel about where we live. A well-maintained, attractive and high quality environment helps make a place feel like a community - somewhere we are proud to live and work.

Improving the quality of the local environment around us, the streets, parks and green spaces is at the heart of Greening Greater Manchester (GGM).

GGM provides small grants to local community groups and environmental organisations to help involve people in environmental improvements in their neighbourhoods.
